![]() Long Strider, a mobile leader that has Swimming and Free Movement, invisibility for the leader stack in forests, you can strike fast and stealthy. But Horned Gods come late, the real advantage of the Druid is extreme mobility. Horned Gods win one-on-one against pretty much all other T4 class units except for Reapers. There may be some background strategy I'm not aware of) ![]() But I've seen manticore riders get fairly toasted by horned gods (at least, vs the AI. I can't speak for grim reapers my necro games tend to end before I hit them. Shamans remain viable for a good while too. I am, however, rather partial to summoning elephants. ![]() And some of the Gargantuan animal summons are pretty good. Having tried to kill them several times, they're rather hard to kill for a support unit. Entangling touch if things get back up close, and some nasty ranked attacks, and a sizeable health pool. Secondly, shamans are pretty darned good units. Especially since lightning damage is resisted by very few units. Entangle on strike, and an ability that is basically just a trebuchet boulder, but AOE, no damage to walls, and slightly longer CD makes them good siege engines that punish you for getting close. I've played a bit of arch-druid, so I'll throw in my two bits:įirstly, have you hit horned god yet? Those things are nasty. ![]()
